Back up everything

One file with everything in the app: diary, case prep, attendings, references, case photos, the sent log, formats, and every photo.

Case photos, all photos and the sent log exist only on this phone. This file is the only other copy, so save it to Files every week or two, and always before an update.

Restore from a backup

Adds back anything from the file that isn't already in the app. Nothing already here is overwritten.

Text attending

Photos pass through to Claude and are never saved anywhere. They clear from this screen as soon as the text is written. The sent log stays on this phone only, with MRNs removed.

Write

Highlight the parts you want in Epic (select them, or use a highlighter in Markup), then photograph the screen. Only highlighted text is copied, word for word.

Copy the text out of your photos instead
Fastest: select the photos in Photos, tap Share, then your "Note to Text" shortcut, then Paste from clipboard below. Or one photo at a time:
  1. Open the photo in Photos.
  2. Tap the Live Text button (a small box with lines, bottom right).
  3. Tap Select All, then Copy.
  4. Paste it in the box below. Repeat for each photo; they can all go in the same box.

Message format

One part per line: the part's name, a colon, then how it should look. Each consult type keeps its own format. Formats are saved; patient details never are.
